Mixing different HYDRAULIC FLUIDs?

I have read in the past mixing HYDRAULIC FLUIDS in tractors can be a problem so i'm posting this question to avoid the possibilty of doing damage to a log splitter.
The manufacturer recommends AW46 HYDRAULIC FLUID to be used in my new splitter and it shipped with a few gallons in the axel. I need to add more to get the level up to where it belongs and my questions is can I add a different oil viscosity, say AW32 to the existing AW46 without damage.

The primary concern regarding mixing of hydraulic oils. Is to protect wet clutches and brakes from oil that is not wet clutch/brake rated.

You won't damage the log splitter using tractor specific hydraulic oil.

You could potentially do harm to your tractor if using AW46 oil if your machine is an HST model.

Your splitter has a valve and a cylinder, two things your tractor has also. Your splitter however does not utilize a hydrostat or wet brakes that require special fluids.
