I got the idea of a mmm axle off the forum and a while back decided to fab one up for my 60" mmm off of my B2650. I bought a 30" length of 3/4" black pipe because the OD was the perfect size. I then cut 2 pieces 10 3/4" long. I then welded caps on both ends of the pipe. Then I drilled 1/2" holes in each cap. After that I welded 1/2" nuts over the holes to be able to mount the 4 wheels with 1/2" bolts. Then I mounted the axles on the mmm and got the correct spacing. I then drilled through the existing holes on the mmm and through the new3/4" axle to put existing pins in to secure the axle to the mmm. The axles and this system are very stable. I can roll the almost 400lb deck around no problem. It is sturdy enough to roll out in the drive and pressure wash underneath for winter no problem. With the 30" piece of black pipe and wheels bolts and nuts I have about $30.00 in the whole thing.

How do you get the axel through the hole.

Sorry about that. I just pull the 1/2 bolt and wheel off of the end I have ground off tight to the axle that you see on the bottom of the picture and slide it through the deck and then reinstall wheel and bolt and install pin through mmm and axle to hold in place. Only takes a couple minutes.

Good idea... would work for winter storage too... I might have to do that, was cussin the deck from our BX the other day, took it off to plow snow, and was tripping over it later in our crowded barn... tryed to stand it up, didn't work well, needs wheels like that.

You are exactly right dieselcrawler. That is what I designed it for. I just pressure washed and cleaned it up before rolling it tight to the wall in front of my pick up out of the way and not tripping over it.

Nice, simple design. I added swivel wheels to the other end so it's easier to get up against a wall. Store mine in my shop, taking up minimal space!!!
