I've noticed under certain conditions (on a slope with 3PH w/BB all the way up) the reverse HST pedal on my B7610 will hit and limit travel or bind to the point of sticking against one of the MMM linkage pins. It's the 24B model 54" MMM in the up and pinned position. If I lower the BB about half way it seems to eliminate the interference. Anyone else had this one? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Before you shorten the offending pin as in that other thread, try removing it and inserting it from the opposite direction. This puts the head of the pin, rather than the end with the cotter pin, on the side where it's binding and that end is shorter. It's tough to get in there but you only have to do it once. I had the same problem with my B7500 and this totally eliminated the problem.

Jeff,

Thanks for the suggestion. I turned the pin around. It was a pain to get the cotter pin back in but with two pairs of needle nose pliers and some patience I got it back in. Haven't had a problem since (with the MMM anyway, my computer on the other hand got thrashed by a virus which is why it took me so long to reply /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif)
