Last weekend I installed the 3rd SCV kit on my 4210, and hooked my 72" MMM up to it. I tested it a bunch of times as I reassembled the tractor, and it worked fine. This evening, I went out to do some mowing. Lift worked fine when I started, but after I mowed for about an hour, I went to put the tractor away, and discovered it would not lift the deck anymore.
The hoses alternately stiffen up like they should, and there seem to be no leaks. Everything sounds normal when the valve is engaged. I tried the rockshaft, and it seems to get very sluggish on the way up, but otherwise seems OK.
I have not hooked up the FEL yet, which would be wise, but I won't have time till the weekend.
About 2 weeks ago, the dealer did the 50 hour service which included new filters and fluid. The fluid level is above half way on the sight glass.
The symptoms seem to indicate possibly a clogged suction side filter, but thats a guess. Could be air in the lines from installing the 3rd SCV, but I don't know what to do about that.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andy
