I panicked this morning as I started to do my annual oil and filter change. I've been using Mobil 1 10W-30 for years but when I looked at the new bottle I noticed that it no longer carried a diesel rating - in the past it had a CD or CE rating - can't remember exactly but it was suitable according to the requirements of the my 2004 RTV900.
Much to my relief when I went on-line and looked up the data sheet for Mobil 1 10W-30 it still has a diesel rating - CF - but as a separate line item listed as "According to ExxonMobil, Mobil 1 10W-30 is of the following quality level". Why they don't put it on the bottle I can't hazard a guess.
