Mobil 1 good price

All you Mobil 1 users out there check out your local WalMart. They have the 5 quart container at a reduced price of $19.82 for all grades. That is the lowest I have seen it in this area.

Yeah, I've seen that for a while now. Can't beat the price. Too bad my local WalMart does not carry the Mobil1 ATF or other Mobil1 products like filters.

Ken, There are two Wallys in my area. One has had the 5qt. jugs for about two months and the other hasn't had any for about six.....you never now around these parts. I could stock up but neither of the stores have the 5w 40 (Delvac 1). In fact , I can't find it any where. I have a good notion to switch to Amsoil. Ya, I know, it's expensive. But I wouldn't have to chase all over creation to find it. Order online and wait. About 3 to 5 days. I'm right on the fence over the idea...... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I used Amsoil for several years because I could order it over the net and it was convenient. But the cost was getting too high with Amsoil so I switched to Mobil1. Just too many things around here need oil changes and it costs a fortune. Of course not nearly as much as if I paid someone else to do it.
When I see the Mobil1 at WalMart I load up. Seems most of the time it's out of stock.
Someone gave me a gift cert to an online parts store and bought enough RedLine oil to last for the next two years in the Kubota.

Rich, I plan to use Amsoil hyd. oil anyway so I'll order the motor oil at the same time. I get a good deal on AC Delco,Wix and Champion filters through my employer, so I can spend a little more on the oil. But if Amsoil increases their prices in the next year, I'll go back to Mobil 1.
