I just hooked up my 12 Foot Viper and noticed low oil level in the center gear motor. Added oil and raised the mower to check for leaks. Sure enough, I have what appears to be a leaky seal. Also, the seal on one of the wing hydraulic lifters blew out when raising the mower. I have had this mower for about 7 years, and in that time have had two gear motors replaced under warranty, several seals replaced, and miscellaneous other issues. The mower is lightly used on grass pastures for about an average of 125 hours a year. Its kept under cover in a barn, and I am religious about greasing and maintaining. Am I the only one have these issues with this product? The manufacturer has "Made in the USA" and American flags all over the mower, but most of the key components are Chinese. Back to the dealership (we are on a first name basis).
