modern competitor 5 ft.bush hog..

my tractor kioti ck 37 came with this bush hog.. all the stuff I read and saw videos about adjusting bush hogs does not cover this question?.. on this model for the arm lift pins on the a frame are 3 holes on each side.. my cutter was set on the bottom hole, so I raised it up 1 hole,, the manual does not mention any thing, I call the builder and talk to someone in parts who couldn't help either. so if you have a modern competitor cutter what hole is your arm lift pins at..? if I knew how to post a pic I would, thanks in advance.. c Falcon

Theoretically, the pins in the lower holes will let 3 point on the tractor lift the cutter higher than in the upper two. I have never seen a setup like you describe? Ken Sweet

My 2060 Frontier has 2 holes. The lower set of holes are for a shorter tractor like the jd 2 series.

They would likely just adjust the cutter to suit the range of motion of your 3pt arms. If i could put them in the lowest holes and still be able to lower the cutter to a good cutting height, i'd do that. Having the extra lift height could help out with maneuvering in certain cases.
