I just purchased a RTV-X900 and have made some modifications to make it into a maintenance vehicle for my work maintaining 47 structures on 110 acres with 12 structures built prior to 1900. I added an LED light up high in back to act as a back up light and to give light to the back where tools are carried. A small dash light was added for ease of seeing in the cab. I used lighted rocker switches wired in so everything turns off with the switch. The ladder/lumber rack works well for even a 28 foot extension ladder. The side boards drop in and are easily removed as are the back most pieces that hold them. I have made chain saw scabbards that attach to the side boards. The side boards give more depth for hauling fire wood and brush.

Nice work ! Lots to take care of there, summer camp ? I made a cargo tray for the reciever hitch for the Honda 2K , 110 v LEDs front and rear and two 500W hallogens in front, makes night go away !
The Little Giant fits in the bed but that is a nice ladder rack !

Yes, summer camp for boys for 7 weeks and then 2 weeks of a girls camp. Do you run an inverter to power the 110v LED's and halogen lights? Sounds like you could light up a good size ball field!
A cargo box off the back is a great addition and comes off easily when not needed.
Cheers.

Sounds like a great gig ! I put my Honda 2K inverter generator on the little cargo tray I made that to go into the receiver hitch. Ran a wire up the dash to four switches to run the lights. Two LEDs front, two LEDs rear, they don't even make the generator idle up. Two 500W halogen floods front , a LED on a mast and an LED Amber mini light bar(12V) tops it off. Yea it lights up the world !

Very nice. Looks like you have it set up for just how you need it.
