As I move in the seat of my JD 990, my fat arse tends to hit the stick for the FEL. I know, I could do something about the fat arse, but I think modifying the stick might be quicker. Does anyone have any suggestions on bending the stick a little in a couple of spots? There seems to be plenty of clearance.

Heat it up, bend it to suit fat arse then repaint...no problems:thumbsup:

Worked fine on my 4300. Was my fat leg that usta hit the stick. I just made sure that the flame didn't get near the plastic fender. Bent the stick at the same places of the original bends, only moreso.....
Now if I could only design an electric heater for that cold plastic knob when moving snow...

I had the same problem on my previous 4115, 4500, 2320, 2520, and 2 4120's. I seriously thought about bending all the joysticks but never did. I now have a 4720 CAB and it is mounted up higher on the console so I dont have to worry about it now. Only problem I have now- I am 6'6 310lbs and so getting in and out of the cab can be challenging at times but I will deal with it...

They are adjustable, so why not just move it over a little bit?

The one on my JD2520 is, I adjusted it to fit my new Suspension seat, because the new seat was way higher and its great now.
Its all a bunch of little jam nuts on the ball joint linkages at the bottom of the stick. Took a few minutes, but its perfect now.

No adjustment on my 2010 2520 that I can see. Sure wish there was. My knee hits it and tilts the bucket down whenever I turn around.

Its down by your feet. I think you need to remove a plastic cover so see the adjusters. I'm not by mine, or I'd look.
Its literally on the bottom of the stick, so just follow it down with a flashlight and have a look at the bottom of it!

When I curl the bucket in on my 755 the stick hits the seat. It definitely needs the hot wrench.
