I didn't modify the blower at all - just removed the rod arrangement they had there and replaced it directly with the cylinder. Once the cylinder fit it was a direct swap except for the need for 3/4 to 1/2" bushing to adapt the holes that were there to make them fit the pin of my cylinder.

I don't know what a BX blower looks like, but the one for the 3010 has a sort of triangular bracket on the deflector assembly and I just used that.

Great work on the hydraulic cylinder!! I build my own cylinders though. I get all the supplies from Baily.net then weld everything together. Fast, simple, easy. I can custom size all stroke and cyl sizes I need. Your way was indeed an education. One can build tie rod cylinders with out welding also. Just assemble all the parts and tighten the bolts. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
