Now, I don't mean to rain (or snow) on her parade, but I don't understand why this woman is getting credit for doing this when there was a whole team along with her? Just because she sat behind the wheel of the tractor the whole time? It looked like there were at least two other large vehicles of some sort traveling with her, and I'm assuming they were pulling/hauling provisions with them.
I've read a couple of other articles that did give some credit to their team and their sponsors. I would guess that many of the contributors to this site would be more than capable of driving the same tractor in the same situation with the same support, but have real jobs and obligations that occupy their freetime.
On one hand, I applaud anyone that can chase their dream, no matter how ridiculous I think it is, and can further convince people to sponsor them. On the other hand, the practical side of me is utterly unimpressed - after all, the tractor and the support team did most of the work. In the end, live and let live, I recon.
