Montana 3040 shop manuals?

I guess I should assume, by the lack of helpfull responses, that nobody knows anything about the exsistence of shop manuals for Montana tractors.
If anyone knows about this, either way, the help would be appreciated.

They exist on CD. You will have to get that from your dealer. It will have everything you need.

Maka If I understand correctly you are a dealer. I know that my dealer will not have shop manuals of any type. Can you get shop manuals for a 4940C and would you let someone send you a money order for the manual and shipping ?

I dont know anything about 3040 shop manuals. I called a dealer in one of the towns in NWArkansas and asked him about the one for my 4940C. He checked with montana and they did not know anything about a cd version of the shop manual but they did tell him there was one available for my tractor. He took my credit card information and ordered it for me. He was going to just have it shipped to my house instead of just to him. I should be getting it next week to see how comprehensive it is

I have a 4940c. I had a small problem with my front end loader and I took it to the main headquarters in springdale arkansas to get it fixed under the warranty. I asked about a shop manual for the 4940C the answer I recieved was that there was not a good one out. The head of the service department said that the one on cd really did not do much good. He said they are in the stage now of having a technical writing department that montana hired to write one. The tech writers are actually taking tractors apart and then putting them back together and useing that as the basis for their new manual. Probably will be about a year until that becomes available.

Sorry state of affairs folks when you can't get manuals for your product. Funny that we keep praising Montana. Makes you think doesn't it?

Have you called Montana? They had a CD for t he tractor and they have some excellent Mitsubishi manuals. Loaders are not on there. I used to burn them for people but just can't do it any more as I don't have time.
