Montana 7074T Information

I am looking to buy a 7074T but have no info and my local dealer has none. I need the turbo as I live at 8000 ft and the horsepower reduction without the turbo because of altitude concerns me. I have seen a 5740C and liked it but need more power for snow blowing and snow plowing. Also want to backblade a long (1.5 mile) road.

Has anyone seen one of these and does anyone have any experience with this model.

I believe this to be the same tractor as the TYM T700 from the tiny picture I've seen on Montana's website, plus it uses the same John Deere 3029 engine. Use this link to get stats on the TYM. TYM T700

Same as the Mahindra 7010 also except the engine. Mahindra uses the 7520 engine. I can't find anybody who is using any of these tractors. I did drive one around the dealers lot and look it over pretty good. It is a real comfortable tractor. I really like the remote lift arm control.

Thanks for the info! I checked on the TYM and indeed it does look exactly like the 7074T. I read thru the manual online and got a lot of detail. Still looks like what I want. Also looked at the Zetor 7441. I like the Cat 1 & 2 3 pt hitch. But from the dealer near here, it is a lot more money. Thanks again for the info.

The 7441 is larger and heavier than the T700, and they are not in the same catagory. A T700 w/Cab shipping weight is 6660 pds, and is a 3 cylinder engine 2.9 Liter (179 CID) 70 engine HP and 64 PTO, and would be classified as a large compact.
The 6441.1SR Zetor would be closer in price and is a four cylinder tractor at 254 CID @ 60 PTO HP and shipping weight is 7960 pds also is Turbo

Isn't the 6441 exactly the same tractor as the 7441 except for a different fuel control and larger turbo? The zetor dealer here told me there is no difference between them except for the fuel control and the turbo and about 3 to 4 K in price? The Zetor has more features and seem to be a bit more versatile, but not sure I need or can use the additional features. I appreciate your help and information and probably will go back and talk to this dealer also.

Check out the Mahindra 7010. It's a 4cyl. turbo and weighs about 6300 pounds without the loader.
Is anyone out there using one of the TYM made 700 tractors?

Yes that's right, I was suggesting the 6441 because you said the 7441 was priced higher. Also you can get R4 industrial tires on these tractors now.
