I have a Montana 4540, bascially same loader/frame as yours. No, I haven't had any come loose, but I'm going to check them again, now that you have.

I did have 2 of the main FEL bolts shear off while pushing a big pile of brush in a low gear. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I've said it before and I'll say it again, The Montana 4540 has enough power to hurt itself. The 4540 engine should have been put in a bigger/heavier frame tractor.

I wonder if this is a problem with all of the compact models or just your model? If there's a known problem and they have a fix, I would like to "fix/update" mine too.

I would just contact the dealer or call Montana directly. Montana is a company that works hard to see that every customer is happy and I'm sure they will address your issue!

Do you know if the problem is with all compact models or just yours? Like I said before, if there's a known problem and fix, I want to update my tractor BEFORE I have problems. I have a Montana 4540.

Thanks!
