Moose in Jonesport Me

I was in Jonesport today measuring Old Cable rail for updateing to newer style rail and going along slowly I noticed this gal on a cottage lawn .We watched each other for awhile before I remembered that I had a camera.

Yes most likely there are at least two Terry's On was a man and cousin of mine he was a carpenter, that passed away about 6 years ago he lived in St Albans, The next is Teri she is married to my cousin and lives in Pittsfield. The last I can think of is also a cousin and used to live in Hartland she and her husband moved about 10 years ago up north somewhere. I am sure there are many more do you have a better description? There is also one more she is employed at the (used to be ) Edwards Co in Pittsfield she is married to a cousin of mine as well and lives in Hartland. Do you know the Pauls in East Benton? I used to work with them both and am still great friends with the son.

Also i did cross onto Beals and stoped at the park at the end of the road today.

Glad we don't have those here. They have a much larger mouth than a deer! I have enough problems with them. Seems like the population exploded this year.

I've had more than a few close calls with them as a truck driver. Winged a biggun one night coming home from Marion Twp. down in Washington County with a load of Coast of Maine dirt on. Knew he was going to run in front of me so started blipping the airhorn to startle and get him to stumble. He did..... right on the yellow line. Heard a thud from the right side and ended up with a ton of slobber on the truck, along with a wet spot on the road dead centered between the marks his hooves made when he spun out, but never saw him again.

Anyway, I work with a Terry (Terrance?) Lary in Pittsfield who lives in St. Albans, he makes wood furniture on the side. Tall guy. Drove tank for Superior for a while before he came to us.

heres a moose in my front yard last year......i guess it was thirsty and liked the bird bath/fountain. Have a movie of a large moose in the same yard about 3 winters ago...his belly was as tall as the field fence, and he just loped right over the fence without touching the wire. was a site to see.
