You all seem to notice quite a lot so I thought I'd send a few more. Anything a deal breaker?

One thing that I have found useful is to collect pictures of other 1510s. That way if I have a question about how something should be on mine I can refer to those pictures. Very few tractors get to be this age without a host of quick fixes / user modifications and in some cases the only way to know what is right is to have examples to refer back to.

For the most part that is what I have been doing here, comparing things on the pictures you posted against the pictures I have collected over time.

There seems to be something off in the steering arms. I am not sure of the correct terminology so you may have to bear with me a bit. In all your previous pictues the front tires were pointed straight forward. With the tires pointed forward the arm from the steering box in the third picture should be basically straight up and down. There is some adjustment that can be made there but I don't think that there is enough to correct it being that much out. If my thinking is right, the way it is now you would be able to turn the wheels fully to the right but only partially to the left.

The only other thing I noticed was that it was missing the body panel that goes around the oil filter and the two body panels on the opposite side.

I noticed earlier that pitman arm did not seem to be properly positioned--that it would not be centered with that tie rod. I agree with mus on this. Between that, the exhaust, the knuckle problem, the strange position of the 4 wheel drive lever, and the loader bracket not fitting properly and welded on (when it should just be bolted), this thing is making me nervous and it is not even my wallet!

The sheet metal would be the least of your worries; it will operate quite nicely without the panel. These other things are MUCH more disconcerting. It has been sitting long enough to collect a pretty good load of pine straw. I do not know--I would sure feel very badly if this turned out to be a major dud. I am sure that there is nothing there that cannot be fixed, but at what cost?

The loader support in the second picture has some "issues", too. Those three holes should be attached to that upper support with bolts! I would guess that the loader wasn't designed for that tractor, and it may not be attached properly?

That is definitely messed up.
