I figured posting here would get seen by more hydraulic experts than in the Kioti owners section.
As the title states; my father and I are looking to add a 3rd function for a grapple. In looking at prices of the various "kit" offerings I'm thinking I can piece it together cheaper myself.
Looking at this valve assembly (unless there are better suggestions)
Fremont Industrial Supply
and the John Deer control grip. Can piece it together from Green Farm Parts for about $77
Our basic plan is:
All hose ends at the sub-plate will have threaded swivel fitting with 90* elbows as needed depending on specific valve placement
Hose 1 - From PB of loader valve (banjo fitting) to sub-plate of solenoid
Hose 2 - From Tank/PB port of sub-plate to 3Pt (Banjo Fitting)
Hose 3/4 - From A/B ports of sub-plate to Loader QD Fitting Flange (Fabricating new flange to hold 6 fittings instead of 4)
Hose 5/6 - From QD flange to implement attachment point (Cross tube)
Right now thinking of terminating the hoses on the cross tube with our own spring / hose clamp assembly.
All the electronic stuff (i.e wiring, relays, fuses, etc) is "right in my wheelhouse" so I'm good there; what I'm needing is:
- particulars on the banjo fittings for part 44 below
JOYSTICK_VALVE_GROUP_CK35M-T750A
- recommendations on hose size, type etc.
- QD fittings for the implement (grapple) end
- Spec's on the QD's on the loader end (haven't had a chance to look for markings yet)
- Along with any Do's, Don'ts, "Things I would do different next time", or anything else I might have overlooked on the hydraulics side.
Thanks in advance for your help and knowledge.
Steve
