More comfortable, durable seat for a GC2610?

I noticed my seat on my GC is starting to come apart at the seams (seat and back). Only 162 hrs on it so far and it started soon after I bought it. Now it is to the point it needs repaired or replaced. I was wondering if anyone has changed the seat with a different one or just keep the same and recover? Options are probably few, being that it has to be light enough to swivel for the hoe use.

The new GC1700 series have a different style seat but I didn't look to closely at how they were made. Maybe they improved the design to make them more durable. Probably pricey but could be an option, you would think it would fit since the GC1700s are just an upgrade of the GC2400 .
