More FEL Forks

Those forks started out as a home made 3 point hitch rig that I used on my Bolens G152 and then when I got a loader I torched them off and welded them up to use on the loader. My John Deere 4310 is the 5th tractor those forks have been used on. This is the 3rd version of the forks. The attached photo shows what they looked like on the front of my former tractor, a Yanmar YM2620D. The forks hung on 2 heavy duty hooks welded to the bucket.

I removed the orange square tubing that held it to the hooks from the previous version and added quick attach points to match those on the loader arms.

After using it, there is a night and day difference. When I had the forks on the bucket you couldn't see where the forks were. Now there is a clear line of sight.

I may add some re-inforcement later on, but so far it seems stout. I put the forks under the rear end of my 16 ft utility trailer and lifted it about 3-4 ft off of the ground. Now all that is left is to paint it JD green.

Very nice solution /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif That's the downside of using the bucket, you can't see what you are trying to slide under.
