Oil & Fuel More on oil , filters & part #'s

Read thru the sticky post on oils etc but does not apply to my 4047H.
Where does one find the part #'s for the filters needed for 50 hr?

Underwhelmed by overpriced service manual which contained no P/N's.
Apparently I now need an additional separate parts manual.
Is there easier on line data base on these particulars?

My dealer left LS days after the delivery of tractor at end of summer!

All of the filters for the 4047 are the same as the 4041. The have the exact same engine/ hydraulics. The only difference between the 41 and 47 is the 47 has the injectors "turned up" at the factory to produce the extra 6 HP and the 47 has larger tires put on at factory. Some dealers order the 41's from factory with the 47's tires. RCO tractor is one of them.. The old post listing the NAPA filters for the 41 contains all of the info you will need.

"turned up" are you suggesting more gas? more air? injection. Doesn't sound worth more $$.

I dont think there is a tractor brand made that doesnt use the same engine and frame size for several models of tractor. By turning up the injection pump to put more fuel in, increases the power to a point as long as it can get air to mix properly, then you can add a turbo and add even more fuel, then stack on an air intercooler so the turbo has cooler air to compress and it gets even more power. Same engine, same frame size (gears, transmission, axles etc) Yes they tack on a few more dollars for each item but nothing like the jump in price when you go to a different frame sized tractor (change number series). Mostly the noticeable difference will be the tire sizes get bigger to accomodate traction for the extra HP. This adds $$$ to the price also.
