Groups 1 (1401,etc.) and 6 (2001, 2010, 2020 to 2420) are here...sooner than expected. Groups 3 (1500) and 5 (1601, 1610, etc) by the end of January I am told now. Details & pricing up by tomorrow evening (hopefully--my office desktop is down for repairs and the laptop and I do not have the same smooth relationship /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif) Even better news...group 8 (f/fx 18-24) due by late February.

I just hope folkes take advantage of this very important safety feature that has been made available to them (the ones without ROPS) & make the purchase . In my opinion that is the best feature to come out for the grey yanmar . I hope you sell them all . I have the fold down type & only have a 7 ft garage door & the tractor goes in just fine with the ROPS down.

All of them are folding models. Only the new tractor guys offer the cheaper model /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
It really is a dandy ROPS for the price. Last retail I recall on the OEM for a 240--and this goes back 7-8 years--was in the mid-$600s, so given the steel price increases of recent years, these ROPS are a true bargain. And again, hardware and seat belts are included. Those of you who have already purchased one can tell other folks how easily they go on.

The ROPS are very easy to install. Some may say they don't need ROPS, but we all put ourselves in bad situtions from time to time & think after about how dangerous that was.If this happens on a tractor you may not get a second chance to think about it.$600.00- $700.00 for a safety device that could mean life or death in a tractor accident ,it's a no brainer. I didn't have to think twice about it ! ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEATBELT WITH YOUR ROPS UP !

We have a Ym 1510D & I see that a ROPS for it is not going to be developed (boo, hiss). Can you say why?
Also I see that you have the models split out as groups can you say how the group are organized, chassis length?, axle?, rear track?, overall width?, overall weight?

This is TOTALLY taboo I'm sure, but how different would your 1501 be from some of the others?
My thoughts are that if one was not made for yours, maybee you could "SAFELY" modify one of the others to fit... Just a thought. A good, profesionally made ROPS for a similar tractor added to yours with allot of forethought to safety would be a good idea if you had the need..Just a thought.

I hope the "boo, hiss" was in jest, as we and others have lobbied for the manufacture of these for some years. It ultimately took a sizeable investment (not ours, I admit) to get them produced. They have to be profitable. If there are not enough of a given model out there to allow for a likely recoupment of investment, the result is no investment. That's my best guess.

Absolutely a 'must' buy. I bought one for my YM2210D from LMTC about a month back. It was dropped shipped to my front door about 3 days later and took me less that 45 minutes to install. However, I just traded the 2210 in for an FX32D. As soon as that group hits production, I'll be putting in my order!!
