Sitting in Iceland. Watching the days grow shorter minutes a day and thinking about all the work I have to do when I get back to the states in December with my [emoji[emoji6]][emoji6][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] and the only thing that keeps me connected to my machine is this site and it’s crickets. What the heck?

Not a Power Trac owner here, but am a big fan. I find it helpful to go to their web site and daydream about which model and cool attachments I'd get if I had unlimited budget and storage space.

Ready to see your updates when you return. Wishing you safe travels.

Well, I put my oil cooler back on the engine, put both pumps back on, and wheeled it over to the machine in prep to get the engine back in pretty soon.

Does that help? 🙃

What's your hurry?
Snow?

Around here, I successfully replaced my fuel shutoff solenoid on the Deutz F3L2011. If there is a great way to get a dead solenoid out, I am all ears on what the technique might be. I spent literally two hours jiggling, turning, rattling, twisty, and just generally yanking and pulling on it. I even had a look see with a borescope trying to figure out what I was missing, before "Whoosh!" it slid out easy peazy, as if there had never been an issue. From the borescope, it looked as if the hook was just too long to clear the opening.

The replacement went straight in with zero issues in a second or two.

When these solenoids die, do some of them freeze in an extended position?

All the best,

Peter

My legs are toast! Can't stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I can walk, but can't carry anything very far. Mobility continues to decline. Had to follow insurance CO protocol... X-ray first, 6 weeks of PT before MRI would be approved. Finally got MRI approved a few weeks ago...

Spinal stenosis, a slipped disk, two compressed disks.... accounts for the leg pain. Been going on since March. Consulting more Dr's next week, but looks like surgery is only option at this point. 🙃

Maybe they'll upgrade my suspension! :ROFLMAO:
