It's very rare that I ever get a glimpse of it around here.
Must be a set of weather conditions that are unusual.

Whose beard with age is hoar,
Is gone ...

We get it at our place once in awhile, it is pretty neat looking. Like the second pic with the star buck's coffee sign.
Guess you need a warm cup after the looking at the frost.

Central Otago in New Zealand had beautiful Hoar frosts when I lived there. Trouble is sometimes the weight would pull down tree branches and power lines.
