The driver is lucky that they did not use the "jaws" to remove the rear doors. From what I understand that hose needs to be horizontal/totally unrestricted at the hydrant.
I have absolutely no sympathy for that moron. I hope the owner/operator gets the maximum fines.

I thought I was one of the few hard azzes on here. It wouldn't be different to you, if it was some ninteen year old punk or someones elderly mother with poor eyesight? I saw that in a movie or TV series once. I don't see were it's legal or moral to destroy someones property, unnecessarily to "teach them a lesson" that is what the ticket and tow is for.

Would you feel differently if it was your 80 year olds mothers house on fire down the road and the car was preventing them from delaying them from putting it out? I’m sure if they said right after the tow truck arrives in half an hour we can put out this fire, that would have made you feel better. If she had poor eyesight she shouldn’t have been driving at all. And the replacement cost of 2 windows is probably cheaper than a tow truck and a ticket at a taxi to the tow truck lot.

From what I see in the picture, there was no reason for it. Besides, from what I see nowadays, the FD is never in much of a hurry when they get on site. Probably have an hour long SAFETY meeting first.
And yeah, my Mother shouldn't be driving, but YOU can tell her that.
