Backhoe Most roomy and friendly for big folks!

Okay Guys..... I'm a big guy. 6'3". And 290 lbs. I'm gonna buy a new compact tractor/backhoe !
Need to know what brand is most friendly to the bigger folks!
Much appreciated for answers on this... I have been looking at LS-New holland-
Kioti- kubota- etc. but only online so far !

I'm 6-2 and 220. You have a bit on me, but I sat in a Mahindra and felt very cramped, also looked at Deere, that was very comfortable. Ended up staying with Kubota. There is sufficent room for me, but if I had it to do all over again, I would get one with a tilt wheel and better seat.

WOW! 6-3, and 325 here, and my Kubota MX 5100 is a great fit. However, I just bought a new Kubota L3301 and it's a bit tight. I plan on re-drilling the seat bracket this weekend to move back three more inches. Wifey says she would rather see three inches off the waist line, and leave the new tractor alone...

I'm about your size, 6-3 280 and when I was shopping compacts 6 years ago the Deere 3xxx series were the only ones I felt real comfortable on. Plenty of leg room, the pedals arranged just right, joy stick in the right spot, backhoe that was comfortable to operate, etc. Before purchasing give one a try.

6'4" 260ish here. Shopping last fall I found they all suck for getting on/off until the high end of "compact" Once I got past that I just concentrated on comfort in the seat.

Kubota heavy frame 'Grand L' series tractors have exceptionally open, spacious, operating stations with flat floors. (Air ride seat, tilt wheel, etc.)

These are strong compact tractors.

I always have to ask first time tractor shoppers: WHY DO YOU WANT A $7,500 BACKHOE?

I'm 6' and 215. The cab of my LS XR3037HC is very roomy. I don't even have the seat back all the way. The only thing you may have a problem with is suspension seats bottoming out as most are only rated in the 250-265 lb. range. When you find a tractor you like that fits you ask the dealer what he can do to improve the seat capacity.

WOW!!! I am 6-1 and 285# and everyone around here thinks I am a big guy with baseball mitts for hands. You guys make me feel short. LOL I love the fit of my L 3901

If budget allows, the Kubota Grand L models have a very roomy operator station with good foot room. About the best I have seen while shopping. I am only 6-1 205# (want to get down to 195# actually) but still find many tractors a pain to get on/off of. Sometimes foot room around the HST pedal is an issue too.
