OK so I got your attention with the title, I'll ask your help.
I have a few acres on our property where high tension wires cross the land. Can't build on it because of easements and I'm thinking of putting it to work and make it earn its keep, so to speak.
For years I have just been mowing it (pasture grass) and now I would like some suggestions on the best way to get some hay going for fodder.
A neighbor of mine is talking moo, moo and I'm going to donate some feed in exchange for beef.
Don't necessarily want to tear up the ground if its possible to over-seed or drill the seed needed. What do you all suggest and what should I plant?
Did I say that the neighbor will be bailing the hay here with his New Holland? Hey this ain't no fly-by-night deal here nosirreebob noittainteither.....
