I have a dumb question -- I just bought a z421 and I can't get it off the trailer.... I can call the dealer in the morning, but I'd like the get the thing off the trailer tonight.

The parking break is engaged, the PTO is disengaged, the engine starts fine. I let it idle for a bit, and when I move the levers from neutral lock to neutral, the machine dies. Is there a safety switch I need to turn off? What am I missing?

Thanks for your help.

Parking brake off and butt on the seat? If those don't work I am not all that familiar with the Kubota ztr's. My Gravely is pretty simple.

Parking brake it was. I intentionally had the break on as I was moving the levers from lock to neutral because I was parked on a slope to make unloading the mower easier. I didn't realize it was tied to a kill switch. It strikes me as a little odd that I don't have a brake that doesn't also kill the machine.

Thanks for the help whitexc.
