motor oil for AGCO st41a

anyone know what kind of motor oil my Agco st41a needs?

this tractor came with some property we bought and I know nothing about it other then

the motor oil is black as it gets.

Looking at tractordata.com,your has a 1.5 litre 3-cylinder diesel Iseki engine.
Any 15W40 oil should be diesel rated,and be more than adequate for your needs.
Extreme temperatures or synthetic preferences will bring other suggestions.

Or a 10w30 diesel oil. Better would be 0w30 for better protection at startup.

thanks guys ,,,,,I had to order a oil filter from eBay today as Napa wanted 68.00 for one.
the one on eBay was 11.00 so I ordered 4 of them just in case they get hard to find someday

Oh-Welcome!
You might want to obtain an Operators manual for your tractor.
It will answer many questions.
Should not be overly expensive.

If there no name oil filters I wouldn't use them. Theres lots of crappy chinese no name filters on ebay. At $11 for 4 il be willing to bet there really poor quality.
