MOTOR QUITS WHEN I PULL SWITCH TO ENGAGE MOWER OR SNOWBLOWER ATTACHMENT. I CANNOT FIGURE OUT PROBLEM. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT. THANKS

Not familiar with your exact model but sounds like it could be a safety switch issue? Does it have a seat switch or something the like?

YES IT HAS A SAFETY SWITCH. iT HAS BEEN BYPASSED. THERE IS A SECOND SWITCH ON THE RIGHT HAND RAIL. ( FRAME ). IT HAS BEEN BYPASSED AS WELL. THESE WERE DONE BEFORE I PURCHASED THE TRACTOR.

Just a guess but it may be your seat switch. I read a few other posts that say during cold weather the seat feels hard. This could be moisture in the seat that has frozen not allowing the seat switch to make. If the seat switch isn't made and the PTO switch is engaged the tractors electrical circuit thinks your not in the seat and kills the motor. As a test you can jumper the seat switch to see if it solves the problem.

(by the way, take your caps lock off. with it on it seems you are shouting at us)

Double check those jumpers, one may have come loose.

Check those by-passes, I'd would repair those for your and those around you for obvious safety reasons. Look for corrosion, or loose connections, make sure switches work. Good luck!

Did you just get this machine or have you had it and it worked okay before and just started doing this? My mower will die when I start the PTO as well if it is not warmed up some.

Have checked brake and seat connections. Both are good. There is a 3rd. connection for when you push reverse pedal I think. I do not know where to find it. I am sure it is a ground out somewhere?
This has happened before. I have been working away then all of a sudden I stop and backup. Snowblower quite working. When I pull switch to restart blower the motor quits. Does the same in the summer with mower. I fool around with stuff and it will work again. I think it is a ground somewhere.

Check the frd/rvs drive switch also, maybe on a lever or a foot operator. It wouldn't necessary be grounded it could be open instead.

Ok, looks like it could be the ignition/blade control electronic module AM132500, it runs from $90.00 on evilbay to 125.00 from John Deere
