Motorcycle ride to Glenwood Springs,CO

So where did you start from and how long did the trip take? I've never been to Glenwood Springs, but in 1987 I had a new BMW R80RT with a nice fairing and rode from Dallas to Colorada Springs in one day to visit former neighbors and do a little trout fishing. On the return trip, also done in one day, I took a little side trip up Pike's Peak. That was a nice little bike, but sure not nearly as nice as the 1985 Honda Aspencade I had when I went to Quantico, VA, Washington, DC, etc. My wife didn't care for motorcycle travel, but she did fly up to Dulles Airport and ride back to Dallas with me in June, 1986.

Just this last weekend. They have had record snows this winter, it was great skiing this winter.

Started in Littleton,Co trip is only about 3 hours and 200 miles one way. Stayed at a B&B did the touristy things since I have never been to Glenwood Springs in the summer time only passing through on my way skiing or to stop at the outdoor hot springs pool after a long day of skiing.
