Flail Mower Motts/Alamo flail mower

I picked up another flail mower this evening and could use some help figuring out the exact mower.
It is a Alamo/Motts industrial, 77" wide at the top plates (guessing maybe 72" cut)
Trying to figure out the year and exact model.
Looks like it could use a new rear bearing and a few flails could use replaced but could be sharpened and be fine.
Looks like a new clutch was put in it at some point and is not in horrible shape, just could use a little TLC.

Welcome to the Flail Mower Nation, parts are still available from flailmaster.

I would recommend that you purchase a wet well grinder from micromark to
sharpen the side slicer knives and a grinder gauge setting tool from wood craft
to set the angle of the tool rest. The wet well grinder prevents the side slicers
edge from from overheating and losing its temper/hardening.

I ended up speaking to a gentleman at Alamo today and he ID'ed the unit as the SHD (Super Heavy Duty 74" model (SHD74))
I did notice the rear roller is very stiff so I am guessing new bearing are in order but I expected that. Looks like the rest is in good shape.

Been meaning to order a wet grinder for the flails - my problem is I needed a new landscape rake so I bought an Everything Attachments Rake, then this deal on the Alamo came along, so it looks like I need to wait a bit longer on that..... Darn wallet is really light right now....
