Friends know me by the nickname Woods, but that was already taken here in these forums.
I'm a hay farmer on a small farm in the Ozarks. We do everything with a John Deere compact utility tractor that is just enough to meet the power requirements of the attachments and a tiny bit more.
How we got to this point is too long and boring for an intro post; but just let me say that prior to 2003 I would never have thought I'd be living here; and prior to 2011 I would never have thought I'd be a hay farmer!
We used to have animals, but when we ended up with an empty nest, we sold them all; though we're thinking about getting a few head of cattle for our own beef.
We're Christians, and I'm a retired IT Architect also.
