mounting blades on mid mount mower.....which is UP and down?

DUMB question I know...tried the worthless SEARCH feature...NO joy there.

New Blades...60" mmm...mount the new blade with the part numbers UP? Meaning UP when the mower is on the ground, mounted on the tractor.

The manual doesn't show the orientation well at all. Looks opposite of how I thought they went.

Blades are sharpened on only one side. The side that gets sharpened is the up side. That is the side that also normally has the lift wing.

The bottom of the blade, (toward the ground) is the side that dont get sharpened and should be smooth and flat.

The sharpened side always faces up.

I took them off in November...cleaned up the deck and just installing sharpened blades now. I checked the manual as I needed the torque settings. the view in the manual was counter to what I thought.
