Hey Guys,

Currently have a 2520 with mid mount mower, rear blade, front blade and xloader. It gets used for finish mowing 10 acres with the help of a Ferris ZTR for the trees and close to the house. 600 foot drive way that constantly needs gravel. Landscaping etc. Now have another 50 acres that is heavily wooded with a few trails and a 2 acre pond. Doing some clearing now and will be running a bear cat chipper.

The 2520 has been a great machine after I replaced the crap seat with an air ride. However I can't mow in high with my yard and the loader really works hard on some gravel moving and some of the clearing I have been doing on the new land.

Was thinking about moving up to the 3000 series. 3320,3520 or 3720. Price really isn't an issue but no sense in spending money for power I don't need.

What model do you guys think would be a good fit and does anybody like the power reverser tranny or should I opt for the ehydro(std on 3720) and last should I go with a cab. It would be nice for mowing and snow but I worry about it on the wooded property. When I say wooded i mean wooded.

Also if I decide to make the move I will have 2520 with a custom air ride seat for sale if anyone is looking for that. I am in Eastern Kansas.

Thanks guys.

I'm not familiar with that kind of power... :D

My philosophy is that I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. If you can afford a 3720 without too much pain I'd probably go for it, when I was looking I only really considered the 3720 and 4720 - then I saw how big they really were and was happy they introduced the 2520...

I would recommend the 3520, It has pleanty of power for whatever you would throw at it. It has a standard turbo charger that really packs a punch, as well as increased fuel economy. Also you have to get the ehydro, very worthwile! I had a 4310 with the ehydro and would not have anything else.

Buy the most power you can afford and you'll never regret it. Even if you don't always need the extra boost it's nice to have at your disposal. I have a 3720 which does everything I want it to,but got to use a 3520 once when mine was in for warranty and it was a little shy on ponies after what I was used to. Fuel economy should be close on either model.

I'd be interested in seeing more about that seat!

I only have a 2210, and there were some folks who did a custom deluxe seat upgrade awhile back, but air ride sounds even nicer!

More power is better!

The deal is done. Went ahead and went with the 3720. My dealer "Heritage Tractor" gave me a good deal on the tractor and on the trade in. Thanks for all the input.

I have purchased a couple of attachments from them and they are really good people to do business with.

Best of luck on your new machine.
