Hauled my new machine to Canada hunt camp. Bushhogged around cabin then hit woods & with dry weather this thing went everywhere, cutting trails & pushing countless trees, rocks, rotten stumps. Actually far easier than my ATV to get around back there. Also moved ~50 anthills like in the pic & my wife got her first seat time. Added 21 hard hours & only 'ouch' was a bent lower chain adjuster & still not sure how that happened.

Those are pretty big anthills. You stated that you moved some 50 anthills. Are you saying that you destroyed them or moved them out of the way to someplace else. What kind of ants were they and won't the ants build again without killing the entire hill and colony including the Queen. My experience with various types of ants was total eradication of the entire colonies to ensure that the little "BUGGERS" are gone. Happy Tractoring.:tractor::tractor:

I don't know what kind of ants but small, black & bite only if you step on a hill after you've leveled it. I moved a bunch of soil to one spot & made a big pile for future use but mostly dumped dirt in woods edge or anywhere I didn't mind a pile.

I could pick up many hills with a well-planned attack but if roots/big rock involved did partial load then more bulldozing/leveling w. FEL or rear blade. Lotta work as some areas had these packed in every 10-15 feet.

They do rebuild but as they are everywhere killing queen may be very tough. Locals keep 'em down by first leveling then hogging yearly. Some of these hills were probably decades old.

Pics look good, sounds like you are getting some good use out of your tractor. Sure glad we don't have ants like that here.:confused2:

Thanks for the follow up info. It's a good thing that they weren't FIRE ants. Being so far up North you don't have these critters. Hopefully you never will have to deal with them. Good work with the FEL. Happy Tractoring.
