Moving. Don’t know what to get for my Husq GT52XLS

Hello guys.

I’m fairly new to this forum. But have been lurking for a while.

I am moving in the next few months. I have a Husqvarna 2016 GT52XLS with about 60 or so hours. I paid $2600 for it but don’t know what is a fair price to sell it locally.

My teenage son ran into a tree and bent the front bumper and probably needs new blades. It is kept under a leantoo but down here in southern Louisiana tons of pollen.


Any ideas?

What hp does it have, and is it a Kohler or Kawasaki motor? Kawa will probably get you a $100 more than the Kohler. Not saying one is better than the other, but that's just the way it is.

In spite of the very low hours, I suspect you'll only get about half the buying price, less the cost of the bumper and blades. Sad but true, used mowers don't get much respect.

Where is the new church you are moving to? Can't use the mower there? Gem is correct about the drop on mowers.

Prices all over the place with selling prices often quite low used because buyers can't charge it...

My brother bought a very dusty but 11 hour mower for $200... dead battery and when jump could not get it to start...

It was a moving sale so it had to go... they started at $650.

Needed a battery and new carb and cleaning... he thought worst case he just bought parts because he has similar... now it is his best mower...
