For those of you who have been around here for a couple years or more you might remember that one of the reasons for buying my TC40D was to do the grading around the house. Unfortunately I did not buy big enough for that job and coupled with very busy work schedules during the summer have not had enough chance to complete the work, despite having moved in over two years ago.
The full-time job just slowed down and have a couple week "breather" before the next load of work comes down the pipe so I'm taking the chance to take a couple days off and rent some larger equipment to do the work. Made arrangements to rent a JCB 426HT wheeled loader next tuesday for a day or two. I'm pumped! 137 hp Perkins Diesel, 2.5 cubic yd bucket, over 19000 lb lift capacity and over 28000 lb breakout force. Just a tad more than what I've been working with in the TC40D. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Attached is JCB's pic of the unit. I'll take pics of the project once I start on Tuesday. Now I just need to keep enough focus to do my work tomorrow while I wait for Tuesday...
