I was able to put all my equipment under one roof but now have to hoist the attachment I want to use up and over the other ones I have stacked in there. Currently using a chain but was wondering about manufacturing a heavy duty strap that would be a bit easier on the equipment? It would also save me a lot of time not having to mess with the chain every time. The most weight I would have to move is the 800 lb tiller. The stuff I'm moving includes a post holer, 110 gallon sprayer, grading blade, finish mower, 2 bottom plow, etc...
Any suggestions...I haven't looked at NT yet.

I have all mine on 4 wheel dollys from Rural King. I can move them around to get to the ones in the back. The only one not on dollies is my chipper. It is too tall and top heavy.

My solution is everything on a dolly. However, I've considered using some shelving to stack some smaller implements, using my forks to move them. There are lots of posts on using dollies to move equipment around in a barn.

I put impliments on pallets so I can move stuff with out having to hook it up. The shelf idea sounds good for what I do.

Using dollies is a good idea. I will have to try that. That would make it a lot easier than hooking everything up to the 3-pt to just move.

I have a fellow that works for me that takes his FEL and sets his tools up on a wagon with a flat and then backs it in the barn for storage. In the spring, he just pulls the wagon out and uses the FEL to pluck off the implement he needs and pushes the wagon back in the barn. Ken Sweet

For moving implements around, I use pallets or a pair of hook and chain from Norther Tool:
Hook and Chain | Tow Chains, Ropes + Straps | Northern Tool + Equipment

These hooks are useful for all sorts of chores and among my favorite tools.

We just added some shed roofing (30'x60') to the sides of our shop so I might change my system since I doubt that I'll be blocking implements anymore.

I'll probably modify one of those straps just to have it handy when I need to lift something.
Thanks for the input everyone....I've got an ag lime base that's pretty soft so the dollie idea...which sounds great...I can't do at the moment. That would be the perfect system with a hard floor.
Ken Sweet's idea of a friend using a hay wagon sounds perfect because I don't use it that much and that is exactly what I can do...just pick them off as I need them. Which means I can jam more stuff into the pole barn!!!!

I'd go with lifting straps like these from McMaster Carr

That McMaster - Carr site has quite an interesting assortment of hartdware. Nice! Thanks for the link.
