I drill a 3/4" hole in each corner about 4" in from the corner and can insert my hay hooks into any one of them to move them around if I need to get them through a doorway or tight spot on the narrow end will use a hay hook on each corner and bring the hooks together in one hand so the corners fold into each other. I find this works well

I bought some clamp-on pallet forks. These were the best thing that I have ever used for moving these mats. I was able to tilt the forks and slide them under the mats to lift them. The width on these pallet forks is adjustable so I could pick up the mats from the long side or short side. After dropping the mats I could tilt the forks and catch the edge of the mats to move them into position.

There is going to be some minor variation in size of the stall mats. So unless you measure each one and try to trim them down to be exactly the same size, you will have some slight gaps. Only if you're OCD should it be a problem... horse stall mats
Also, heat and cold will impact them as well. Expansion/contraction. If some have sunlight hitting them while others don't, there may be some variation there too.
