I have the RCK60B23BX deck for my 2660. It is about 6 yrs old and has seen very little use over the years. It has been excellent when used. I'm in CA and while we have quite a lot of grass in the spring. We don't water the "lawn/yard/field", so I'm usually done mowing by early June:thumbsup:. It gets a tad dusty, but it has been so dry...I have a 48" Brush Bull for any of the rough stuff, so the MMM is grass only. I got the garden in with the rototiller and needed to do a bit of mowing. Pulled the pulley covers off the deck and greased everything up. Gave it a quick look and mounted the deck. 15 mins later there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the seat to see what was the matter. Raised the deck, checked it out and found that all four bolts holding the left pulley had dropped out and the bolt holes in the pulley were completely galled out to probably 5/8". ALL of those bolts were in place when I greased everything up. Apparently they and been loosening and I did not catch it. Shoddy maintenance. Anyway, Like the Navy a while back when they were having problems I guess I'm going to have a "Stand Down" and spend some time going over each tractor and implement. Burns me up no end. I hope the belt isn't burned up. Any suggestions on anything else to look at? Oh, a question, is the large center bolt on that pulley L or R hand. I have the manuals for everything but the mower deck, of course.
