Hi all, newbie here. Just received my '87 755 last night.
At first noticed mower depth control isn't functioning correctly. Following instructions in mower operating manual, I'm raising deck up to highest level and turning mower depth control counterclock wise. Nothing happens. Took off the floor panel and 1 1/2" bolt turns freely by hand, both directions. When it hits the 'pole' within the shaft the bolt goes into, it stops. Can't seem to make it go any further without extreme force.
The second issue is with lowering the deck with the rockshaft. This morning it seemed to work fine. I had the loader attached to give it a try. Cutting grass fine. When I disconnected the loader to cut the lawn, the rockshaft freely moves to maximum to minimum, but the deck stops lowering just 1/3 of the way down. The three point appears to move freely up and down. I reconnected the loader and the deck continues to drop only 1/3 of the way down.
Any and all help appreciated! Thank you!
