Grass at mobile home park about a foot tall and thick. get out the F2680 to mow and in a bit of a hurry because I got dirt to move at home before the rain hits on Sat. Mowing at full throttle and notice engine is heating up a bit and seems to be slowing down. Stopped and raised bonnett(What else can you call it on an F). Thin filter in front of radiator clogged. Wiped and knocked clean, will vacuum out all around it later. Back to mowing and running good.

Hit a small metal baseball bat in deep grass. Next pass in same area ran over another small metal baseball bat but barely nicked it.

Got a flat tire away from my service bldg which has air compressor. Portable air tank at home where I was using it to air up the dratted leaking front tire on the BX2660 before tubing it. Remember to take air tank back to service bldg. Rolled AC to within 50' of mower, hooked into someones electric and had enough air hose to air up tire. Aired up tire.

Back to mowing and hit some heavy wire that used to be in the seat of a chair/recliner in the deep grass. Back to service bldg and lifted front of F up and cut wire with bolt cutters. Back to mowing.

Parked F in service bldg instead of storage bldg since air leaking from tire that I aired up. That's waiting for me Monday, also 49 hours on F so Oil and filters change, (have them there to do the service), grease all fittings, vacuum all around radiator and screen and I'll be ready to hit it again when the grass returns.

Will see if I can find leak but I may finally break down and buy some Slime and give it a try.

Also blades seem nicked so need to sharpen or get another set and change them out with back up set ground down on grinding wheel.

Then back home for about 15 loads of dirt pile moving to garden and some leveling on a steep hill in order to maintain it by mowing for future. Also popped a grass out of one location with BH and set out in another location. Also graded a ditch into a road to get down to my dirt pile.

Seem tired today for some reason.:)

Used my $12.99 tire repair kit today on front tire of F2680. Has 25 plugs so I can only repair 24 more holes. Aired the tire up, squirted soapy water on it and air bubbles showed the way. Used the big handled rasp to ream out the hole a bit bigger, attached plug to the plug installer tool, shoved it into hole, jerked the tool out as per instructions and plug remained. Cut off the excess plug as per instructions, aired up tire to 22 lbs and left for the day. Didn't take my oil filter remover with me so will have to do oil and filters tomorrow or next day. Tire remained on the Kubota during the entire operation. Now to see if the tire holds air.
