Here are some pictures of the hay I mowed with my Valpandana walk behind tractor, 8hp

3 Days to mow 15 acres

This year I am hoping to do around 100 acres with it, nothing like keeping fit!!

Wow that impressive. How are you collecting all that hay?

That season I baked with a tractor and round baler, made into 3' 6" bales and sold at a couple of produce stores. I am going to be making a new round baler that can be towed by a quad bike. The mower is 4' single action sicklebar, the blade is interchanged at lunchtime. It also has clover knife rather than a flat blade

That is awesome! Were you averaging about .75 acre per hour? We just bought 200 acres (mostly timber with about 40 acres of CRP and pasture) and I plan on getting a BCS 852/853 as my only tractor. I love walking around my fields, so it feels like getting paid to exercise. Are you still planning on doing 100 acres this year? Will you be cutting 100 acres total for the season, or 100 acres for 2 or 3 cuttings? Have you looked at the rake and baler for the BCS tractors? The baler seems pricey at ~$8,500...

I know it's been almost a year, but you can't leave us hanging like that! Did you make the baler? What does it look like?
