Mowing in August verses October

said i can go out and mow all the trees i want that we have issues with - 3 yrs of tree growth is terrible trying to keep up with

Even when reading your thread title my first thought was how many weed seeds were allowed to develop by mowing that late.

That is it. Nasty stuff. Some of the heads were opening up this morning. It is all mowed down now.

I've got 70 acres of CRP. I ride it all every Spring and spray trees that sprout up.
