Mrs Boondox out of intensive care!

Woohoo! Tamara has been in ICU since her emergency surgery on Sunday. She appeared to be making minimal progress until this afternoon, when she was weaned off the morphine drip and urged to explore her surroundings. As the drug-induced stupor wore off she actually got up and walked slowly up and down the aisle with her IV pole in tow! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Later in the day she was transferred to a private room where she continues to improve. It looks like she comes home this Friday or Saturday! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Good to hear that news! Sounds like she's gonna be OK. My best friends father lost his life due to a ruptured appendix. It's dangerous stuff.
