Congratulations.

Third on greasing every nipple that you can find, via your Owner Manuals. Sometimes those manuals aren't quite up-to-date and nipples have been added/removed too.

Take the time to torque all of the wheel nuts... just to be on the safe side. Same thing with confirming all of the fluid levels. In fact, read your manuals front-to-back; and then re-read them with a high-lighter in hand.

Take it slow & easy. Oh, and have fun!

Thank you gentlemen for all your good advice here. After I bought the tractor and was waiting for delivery I downloaded the manual and have been reading "front to back" and I know the little machine pretty well now. I even have the service manual for the entire machine and have read that too. I'm pretty up on all the systems and components. After serving most of my career in the automotive trades I remember being taught how to find grease zerks and the proper way to grease a joint. I also have my old commercial grease gun that takes a 30# pail of grease and it plugs into the shop air supply. This tractor will see grease. Good advice too on the lug bolts.

While I have a lot of experience running a loader of all sizes the back hoe will take some practice. But I'm retired now so there is no rush to misuse the hoe; just take my time and learn it.

Again thanks for the advice.

Lisa
