LS MT 125 (still waiting for delivery)
I bought the MT 125 without the MMM because I have a mower already, but it’s not going to last much longer. Many people are buying the zero turn mowers because of the speed. I can’t justify paying 4 to 5 thousand on a zero turn when I can add a MMM for more than half that, but how does the MMM compare to the zero turn when it comes to speed? It takes me 2 and a half hours now on my Husky LGT2654 now.

with a MMM, you have the distance between the front of the mower deck to the front of the tractor which can't cut.. a ZT can cut right up to the front of the deck!.. you can avoid obstacles much easier with a ZT..

It's a pretty rough ride unless your lawn is pool table smooth. I can't do any kind of speed at all. My tires are filled though so that stiffens the ride quite a bit.

When I had my 125, I used a 72" rear finish mower. The few benefits to a RFM is you can keep it if you ever upsize your tractor, another is that you can get a decent mid-grade RFM at about half of the MMM.

The downfall to the MMM is that it is tractor specific... it will only work on the 125 or the 122. That limits if you want to sell it later...you might get a little of the investment back if you sell it with the tractor.
