I believe that's what the service man said, EGR cooler. He said that he has changed a few of them already.Sounds like a possible leak (small) in the EGR cooler. Thats the only way, besides a cracked head, cracked block, or blown head gasket, that I can think of anyway for coolant to get into the DPF. This is all assuming the mechanic is correct about the coolant getting into the DPF in the first place. Fortunately, the EGR cooler is easy(ish) to replace. Again, this should be a warranty thing.
