Sounds like a possible leak (small) in the EGR cooler. Thats the only way, besides a cracked head, cracked block, or blown head gasket, that I can think of anyway for coolant to get into the DPF. This is all assuming the mechanic is correct about the coolant getting into the DPF in the first place. Fortunately, the EGR cooler is easy(ish) to replace. Again, this should be a warranty thing. Please keep us updated.
I believe that's what the service man said, EGR cooler. He said that he has changed a few of them already.

The trusty EGR... Wow, at 25 hours? Hope they got it before it boogered something else

Leaking EGR coolers is a known issue. My dealer has replaced several of them. It can be verified by removing and inspecting the EGR valve. Sometimes they have green coolant in them, and sometimes baked on coolant that looks like black shiny varnish. There should only be dull black soot, not shiny varnish. The DPF can be inspected by removing the ends from the canister. There should only be dull black or dark grey on the surfaces inside. Coolant contamination will cause brown stains and can not be cleaned out by doing a regen. I have a picture of it but can't find it right now. If there is lots of brown in there, the DPF has to be replaced because regens will not remove it. The 5 year emissions warranty will cover it even after the 2 year full warranty is over.

I finally found the picture of the DPF with coolant contamination inside. It should only have dull grey or black in it, brown stains are from coolant. No amount of regens will clean it out, so it tells the ECU that the soot level is still too high after a regen, so it wants to regen again. This one was caused by a leaking EGR cooler which is in the other picture. You can see the shiny varnish from baked on coolant. Sometimes you can see green coolant in there too.

My MT357 has regened twelve times now in twenty-five hours. Last two times it was one hour of running. Today it showed some codes , it showed like a open book with the letter S and number 3253 and on the bottom of that there was F11 and to the right of that the number 81.
The Dealer is closed today so I'll have to wait for Monday.
Anybody have a clue what these numbers mean?
Just a follow-up on my MT357 regen problem from August 2024. Tractor still regens every ten hours now. I only have 45 hrs on it now. It hasn't been snowing here in Wisconsin so I haven't been using the tractor much. Sitting in a nice warm garage. I still not happy with every ten hours. I don't idle it much either. I had a MT342 that would regen every 50 to 60 hours.

Yeah, that isn't right. I've got 30 hours on a TYM and not a single regen request
