Lens12 posts here, his website is Japanese Tractor Repair Dixon, IL

I have sourced parts from Valley Power

What parts do you need? Depending on what they are, you may be at the mercy of whomever has the parts you need, if they are unusual or hard to find.

It seems everyone is the middle man. What should I be paying for each of these... engine fan, the coupler that comes off the damper pully on the mower and a set of rear tire chains?

I have no idea on prices for those, I've never bought those parts. Why not call them and find out?

Tire chains could be sourced nearly anywhere, and probably replaced with pickup tire chains.

I should have clarified that I mean't these actual tractor salvage places are the middle man because the first 2 places I called during business hours and still could not get a person and have to leave a message and they would get back to me. The last place, the guy said he would have to see if he can locate the parts somewhere. More than likely, at some point, I'll save myself the trouble and end up junking the entire tractor because I am not going through the headache and anxiety for the parts witch hunt. Thanks for trying to help.

The tire chains and fan should be easy to find or at least get a substitute of something reasonably functional. Even if you have to pull the shroud off and install an electric fan, or substitute a similar Kubota or Yanmar fan or hub, you'll be able to requisition a fan of one type or another.

The coupler may be tricky, but it's not unachievable. You can get chain couplers from Surplus Center, Hub City, and other places. I've had a special coupler built from a splined coupling and a piece of plate steel to fit the front of my damper pulley to power a hydraulic pump. Even if you cannot weld, it should be a simple job for any machine or fabrication shop. If you have the components up the coupler, you'll be able to get something to work.
